Cold is Hot: Alaska, Iceland, Antarctica, Northern Lights
Last week, we shared with you the Top 5 Luxury Travel Trends for 2018 as reported by Virtuoso’s 2018 Luxe Report.
One of the interesting trends we learned about was that seasoned travelers are in search of fresh destinations and that they have been setting their sights on chillier climes.
While we haven’t seen a slow down in the demand for European river cruises, we too are seeing an uptick in the experienced traveler’s desire to explore the road-less-traveled. And now that options exist that allow travelers to reach the far corners of the world in comfort, destinations like Iceland, Alaska, Antarctica, the Arctic, and even polar bear safaris are becoming very popular.
How about you? Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone a bit and journey to one of these “cooler” destinations?
To help you explore the idea, click around on our links below:
If you haven’t been to Alaska yet, that might be the easiest first step in exploring the globe’s cooler climates. Carol and I have been three times and are going back again this summer.
If you’d like to see a polar bear up-close-and-personal, that is easily accomplished in Canada during the great polar bear migration in Churchill, Manitoba.
What ever your desires might be for a cool-climate getaway, we’ve got the experience and contacts to make that happen for you.
