Columbia and Snake River Cruises
Columbia and Snake River Cruises
Cruises on the Columbia and Snake Rivers have long been on our bucket list.
Well, Carol and I are excited to share that we will be enjoying a wine cruise (hopefully earthy Pinot Noirs) with our friends at the American Queen Steamboat Company later this year.
We’ll fly into Spokane, Washington, and the American Queen Steamboat Company (AQSC) will motor us down to Clarkston, Washington, to hop aboard the ship.
And while we know that AQSC can’t promise these views, we’re looking forward to sampling the local cuisine, sipping local wines, and making new friends, all while enjoying eye-popping scenery.
If you remember, Carol and I last sailed with AQSC in December of 2019. Here is a link to our review.
Columbia and Snake River Cruise Itineraries
AQSC offers three different river cruise itineraries on the Columbia & Snake Rivers:
- Portland (Vancouver) to Spokane (Clarkston) or reverse – 9-day river cruise
- Roundtrip Portland (Vancouver) – 7-day river cruise
- Wine Cruise – Portland (Vancouver) to Spokane (Clarkston) or reverse – 9-day river cruise
For our Wine Cruise, we will be enjoying the following additional experiences:
- A private wine reception at your pre-voyage hotel
- Tastings, pairings, and educational series by regional experts
- Featured wines from local Pacific Northwest wineries
- Special dinner menus inspired by featured wines
- And more!
Sounds fun, don’t you think? 🙂

Looking forward to hearing about your experience! Looks like we might pass each other in the Spokane airport depending on when you arrive there.
I don’t remember about “complimentary benefits “ when booking with you, but I’ll go back and check! I’m sure you told me about those!
Hi Kristen,
I just sent you an email. Like AOL used to tell us, YOU HAVE MAIL! 🙂
