La Mirande Hotel Chef’s Table: Avignon, France

There are standout experiences that one shares with fellow travelers from around the world.  One that sticks out in our minds was this special chef’s table dinner at the La Mirande Hotel in Avignon, France.

Not only did we enjoy the setting in the hotel’s wine cellar and the exquisite cuisine, but our chef sang to us in French and then we were serenaded by two opera singers who happened to be participants in our small group of twelve diners.

While we don’t expect to again have opera singers in our group, we are going back to enjoy this experience again in a few weeks.  We can’t wait!
