We’re just home from a fun trip to “America’s Riviera”, Santa Barbara, California, and we have a lot to share with you in the coming days. We were there celebrating a friends 60th birthday with a small group of 9 folks from around the country.
Carol and I went a few days early to sample the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara (more on that later), and when the group flew into town we moved to the Simpson House Inn (a fabulous bed & breakfast). We spent a day touring the wine country, as well as sampling some of Santa Barbara’s best restaurants. And of course, we spent a full day exploring the boutique shops on State Street and enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the Stearns Warf Pier.
Santa Barbara is one of our favorite U.S. cities, and it was the groups #1 choice to spend a long weekend of fun, exploration, and celebration.
I shot this photograph just down the street from the Four Seasons as Carol and I took a morning stroll on Butterfly Beach. Behind the sun-draped cliffs, and behind a long row of palm trees, lies the city of Santa Barbara.
I hope you enjoy our photograph, and stay tuned for more of our exciting adventures.
