Our Top 10 Favorite Luxury Resorts
Posted by David Porter on Thursday, August 9, 2012 · 4 Comments
Baby boomer travelers are continually asking us about our very favorite luxury resort destination, and our favorite quip has always been ‘our next destination’.
However, now that we’ve got a significant number of luxury travel resort destinations under our belts, we thought it was high time we answer the question without a smarty-pants answer.
Before we disclose our list, you should know that we limited this list to resort destinations and have left a great many metropolitan hotels, boutique hotels, bed & breakfasts, cruise ships, yurts, and other fine experiences for another list at another time.
Furthermore, we made absolutely no attempt to rate one over the other. We simply listed them as they came to our minds. However, I’m certain that there are a few psychologists in our readership who would cry that a subconscience prioritization was in fact happening.
Be that as it may, here are our travel video postcards from each of our top 10 favorite luxury resorts.
Grab a bag of popcorn, sit back and relax, and prepare to be amazed at some beautiful travel destinations that are certain to be added to your bucket list.

The Fairmont Hotels in the Rockies of Alberta are all fabulous! I have stayed at all 3 – Lake Louise, Banff and Jasper. The best that luxury has to offer and the view and surroundings are incredible. I always want to stay forever when I am at any of these resorts.
