Sailing the South Pacific with Paul Gauguin Cruises
We are often asked about our favorite luxury travel experiences. Sailing the South Pacific with Paul Gauguin Cruises is very high on our list. To give you a taste of the romantic settings that exist in the French Polynesian Islands, here’s a photograph I shot of Carol staring off at a beautiful sunset in Bora Bora.

If you’re not familiar with Paul Gauguin Cruises, they operate the award-winning luxury cruise ship m/s Paul Gauguin providing a luxury cruise experience tailored to the unparalleled wonders of Tahiti, French Polynesia and the South Pacific.
The renowned, 5+-star m/s Paul Gauguin was built specifically to sail the waters of Tahiti, French Polynesia and the South Pacific. Launched in 1998, The Gauguin is the longest continually operating year-round luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific. No other luxury ship in history has offered this level of single-destination focus and expertise on a year-round basis for such an extended period of time.

So, I take it that you fly to a destination city and then take this cruise ship around the islands correct?
Hi Patsy,
Yes. We flew from Los Angeles to Tahiti (8 hour flight), and then the cruise was a roundtrip from Tahiti to Tahiti.
