Travel Photo: Staying in a 15th-Century Florentine Palace

One of the remarkable opportunities we’ve found in our visit to Florence, Italy, is the opportunity to stay in a 15th-century palace.
The 5-Star Four Seasons Florence, formerly the Palazzo della Gherardesca, was opened in 1980 after a meticulous refurbishment.
I can honestly say that we are completely flabbergasted by the stunning beauty of this place.
We’ll have much more to share when we return home. For now, just look at our beautiful suite. The second photograph is a fresco painted on the ceiling some 20ft+ above our bed.
Sheez! We’re kinda feeling like royalty.
Wouldn’t you like to spend a night or two here?
