Visiting Trump International Hotel – Las Vegas
We have a love-hate relationship with Las Vegas.
On the one hand, we’re not big gamblers and the whole “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” branded hedonism smacks against nearly everything we believe is necessary for healthy family relationships.
On the other hand, for the luxury baby boomer traveler, Las Vegas offers access to two 3-Star Michelin Chefs, eleven AAA 5-Diamond Hotels, sixteen AAA 4-Diamond hotels, as well as a plethora of world-class spas, restaurants, and shows.
When we visit Las Vegas, one of our favorite luxury hotels is the AAA 4-Diamond Trump International Hotel Las Vegas.
Located just a block off the north end of the famous Las Vegas Strip, we find that the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas offers a tranquil respite from the unceasing activity of the Strip. Yet offers very easy access to world-renowned shopping, and if you’re so inclined, is just steps away from some of the finest resort casinos in the city.
AAA 4-Diamond Luxury With a Condo-Hotel Setting
The Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, with its 600 ft. 24-karat gold glass exterior, shines like a magnificent jewel offering guests 1,282 hotel suites including 880 studios, 352 one-bedroom suites, 20 one-bedroom penthouse suites, 20 two-bedroom penthouse suites, and 10 three-bedroom penhouse suites.
While forgoing a busy, and noisy casino, the hotel offers its guests a marvelous spa, fitness center and salon, a signature restaurant, luxurious heated outdoor pool with sundeck, as well as indoor valet parking.
Further, as the Trump is a condo-hotel, guests will also enjoy European-style kitchens featuring appointments by Wolf, Bosch, Dacor, and Sub-Zero.
In short, all of the luxury of Las Vegas without all of the teeming, noisiness of Las Vegas.
During our most recent visit, we enjoyed a one-bedroom suite. Take a peek at our photographs below:
As you can see, the rooms are furnished in an elegant, classic contemporary style, with panoramic views of the city with floor-to-ceiling windows.
If memory serves, we’ve enjoyed four different stays at the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas and can heartily recommend it to you.
The only caveat that comes to mind: make certain that you request a room nearest to the Strip. Otherwise, the busy railway that nears one end of the hotel will awaken you at night with frequent train whistles.
